The Thomas D. Melms “Beacon of Light” Award was established by the Blue Water Community Action to recognize an individual or organization commitment to human service activities that improved the quality of life for low-income people.

Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) provides accreditation to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, transparency, fundraising, and board governance.

Spero Pregnancy Center first successfully certified as a credible and worthy charity in areas such as the organization’s activities, corporate structure, fundraising, financial and tax data, faith-based purposes, and governance by Operation Transformation. This Annual Certification provides an independent review upon which donors can rely.
